We are seeking a Sales Engineer for our location in Atlanta, GA.
This position is a wirelss sales engineering position in direct support of the sales team focused on LTE wireless. The sales engineer will work closely with the FNC Sales Manager(s) assigned to the account, This position also has direct contact with customers.
The wireless sales engineer will be responsible for assisting in responses to RFIs, RFPs and RFQs. The SE should be able to demonstrate the equipment, coordinate and oversee lab trials and successfully position and sell the overall value of the FNC solution to the customer.
Primary responsibilities:
Position Wireless products within customer technical community and generate interest
Responds to technical issues and coordinates and oversees resolution of problems. Coordinates resolution of problems/issues (PCNs) with FNC equipment
Provides pre and post sales support by responding to RFPs and delivering technical presentations to generate customer interest.
Prepares high quality, accurate and timely responses to quote requests
May Oversee post-sales activities including installation, product shipment and delivery, and invoicing.
Calls on customers in order to answer questions, obtain forecasts, insure customer satisfaction and increase market share.
Develops engineering system plans and diagrams.
Works primarily in unstructured assignments either independently or with minimal guidance
Prepares and delivers presentations to existing customers to provide technical training and to generate interest in new product offerings
Provides post-sales support including First Office Application (FOA) installations and product introductions, product migration support, field training, documentation and upgrades, and distribution of technical materials and software. Troubleshoots as necessary.
Responds to technical requests related to RF propogation, optimization and design
BS with field of study in Engineering; Additional courses in CCNA desired, wireless engineering, RF propogation theory
3+ years experience with Sales, system engineering, design engineering, product management, sales engineering
Experience working with major North American Wireless operators in planning, engineering or selling wireless solutions
Proficiency in wireless techniques and products. Sales ability, effective written/oral communication, Ability to develop business relationships, strong presentation skills with strong pc literacy to include ms word, excel and powerpoint
Familiarity with Wireless systems
Travel required |
