To serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the engineering certification of various core network platforms, including the Mobile Switching Center, Mobile Soft Switch, Call Server, Home Location Register, Intelligent Network, hardware, and software of new technology features. Validate design aspects of new hardware and software releases for platforms. Responsible for the evaluation, lab testing, certification, and engineering conformance of the nodes through lab exit.
Deliver accurate documentation and updates for successful lab certification and completion. Liaise with vendors and serve internal customers for new and sustaining Core Network engineering features and technology/products testing and validation. Respond to questions and serve as a point of contact for internal customers, including the Field Service Center, billing, and provisioning operations, regions, and markets. Responsible to train and provide on the job trainings in TMO Lab
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:
1. SIGTRAN interface Testing (Call Server to MGW, MGW to STP and MGW to BSCs and MGW to RNC)
2. New Feature Testing relevant to MSC in Pool, VOIP, TFO, TRFO,Nb Over IP, BICC and so on in E/// MSS.
3. VOIP / 611 by pass testing - Transport Design Validation relevance to SIP.
4. Regression Testing of E/// CS Core with E/// RNC, Nortel BSC, IP ACCESS BSC, Ericsson BSC and related Intra and Inter MSC 3G-2G interactions.
E2E Core Network Rehome MOP for all BSC Vendors and /// RNC- MOP Validation,
5. Lab Validation (Integration and regression) testing of E/// MSS features with other nodes
MGW and H/W resilency testing to ensure redundancy.
6. Re-IP lab network and E2E validate it with NMNET
Billing and CALEA NMNET and COSNET dual homing verification.
7. E911 support activities.

8. R13.2 E2E Lab Testing
