Details Job Description: This position contributes to the achievement of T-Mobile's strategic, timeline and financial objectives in the planned overlay deployment of UMTS equipment on specified existing T-Mobile communication sites.

The position reports to Regional Development, with direct interface with the T-Mobile UMTS Project Managers and markets. In addition, the position provides tactical input and oversight to the UMTS site materials process, including interface with the designated markets or vendors. Review, analysis and input to all associated databases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Project Manager provides communication on the following activities. Other duties may be assigned.

- Assist and monitor the vendor in implementation and successful completion of existing site logistics activities.

-The purpose of those activities is to determine prioritization order and shipping status for all 3G equipment being ordered and shipped to the markets.
-Communicate markets status both verbal and in writing.
-Conduct weekly information audits/analysis for material ship requests against available inventory.
- Interface between vendors and T-Mobile UMTS logistics and committees to assist in timely completion of site-specific UMTS equipment deliveries according to the T-Mobile deployment guidelines.
-Create and maintain points of contact for market designated shipping and receiving personnel.
- Monitor vendor and T-Mobile deployment production plan and schedule.
Identify schedule deviations or challenges and work with team to correct production problems

-Understand and monitor various program reporting tools. Suggest enhancements when appropriate.
-Coordinate appropriate stakeholders- vendor, Region, Market deployment, etc. to address specific UMTS deployment plan challenges

- Point of contact between UMTS deployment team and activities and Market's and FSC deployment team/activities.
-Ensure UMTS deployment does not interfere with 2G new site deployment objectives
- Other activities that may be required.

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: A minimum of 1 years wireless
telecom logistics experience

Specific shipping report creation experience
Demonstrated ability to manage and interface with large multi-functional project teams.

Must possess successful project management as well as experience in process engineering.

Demonstrated ability to report, forecast, manage and deliver successful projects.

Related background in the area of telecommunications with wireless
telecommunications considered a valuable asset.

Basic education is required. (High School Deploma)

Preferred skills: determination, patience
Exceptional computer skills, primary formats are Excel and Power Point

Shift / scheduled hours: 8 to 6
