Details Test Engineer for our client, a leading wireless infrastructure provider. This is an opportunity to work with cutting edge technology that is changing wireless communications.

The Test Engineer will do testing of our client\'s wireless infrastructure equipment in a customer lab environment he will also provide engineering and software support and informal training to customer engineers.

Title: Test Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA

Qualifications:

• Good overall 3GPP UMTS system knowledge at the customer site, from the protocol stack to the core network to the handset.

• Good knowledge of end to end RAN (radio access network).

• Experience with RANAP, ALCAP, and / or RRM protocols

• Understanding of RF with regard to UMTS

• Knowledge of and ability to trouble shoot the Iu interface, Iub interface, Uu interface (protocol and RF issues)

• Knowledge of IP networks (DHCP, NTP, IP routing etc)

• Knowledge of Linux OS (ablility to login and navigate around OS, make script changes in VI editor, etc)

• Able to run through specific test procedures. Spot issues and troubleshoot to a level that will isolate the problem. Describe and report issues in sufficient detail to help developers reproduce and fix the problem

• Able to use network analyzer tools.
