Details

Primary activities include providing RF technical product support at the RF systems and component level. The RF Systems Engineer will be responsible for:
* Developing data sheets and application notes, and representing the customer's interests to the company's sales, marketing, design and manufacturing groups
* Duties to include designing evaluation boards and writing technical specifications
* Provide hands-on customer support, sometimes at customers facilities
* Provide technical presentations to customers

Responsibilities:

* Serve as technical interface to the customer
* Design customer evaluation boards and create support documentation. These boards provide a platform for our customers to evaluate our product
* Provide sales and marketing with detailed FAE technical support
* Frequent International travel will be required

Experience:

* RF / Wireless background
* Board level implementation, PCB layout skills will be useful
* RF Systems knowledge
* Proven experience in direct customer support
* Simulation and design experience with RF circuits and systems
* System integration of GSM / WLAN Transceivers into final product
* Experience in a volume production environment, preferably in the cell-phone arena
* Hands-on working knowledge of GSM/WLAN RF test equipment
* GSM / WLAN Type approval process a plus
* Mandarin / Cantonese / Taiwanese language skills a plus

Qualifications & Requirements:

* MSEE plus 3 years or BSEE plus 5 years RF design/product experience
* Design experience with analog and digital modulation schemes (AMPS, GSM, TDMA, CDMA, WLAN)
* Board design experience with mixed-signal components
* Strong written and verbal communication & presentation skills
* Strong troubleshooting and debug skills
* Understanding of baseband interfaces and software device drivers are a plus
