TEKsystems is currently seeking 2 Site Acquisition & Permitting Managers. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of Ottawa’s leading telecommunications companies for a 6 month contract (with a strong possibility of extension).

The Site Acquisition and Permitting Manager part of a large 3G implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- On-time delivery of all project milestones and for obtaining all project quality standards.
- Working with the Network Planning Department to complete the timely issue of Search Area Maps to delivering a site that is ready for Construction to the Construction Supervisor.
- Trouble-shooting site related problems throughout the entire Process
- Co-ordinating, controling and evaluating Site Acquisition Subcontractors according to the fixed Scope of Work, timeframes and project goals.
- Responsible for all aspects of completing the SAR, Technical Site Survey and Lease Agreement.
- Review of all Permit Drawing required for permitting.
- Works to obtain all permissions required to build a site within the defined time frames and to the defined qual.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years experience on telecommunication projects with a focus on Site acquisition and Permitting.
- Strong subcontractor management skills.
- Ability to work under extreme pressure with tight timeframes.
- Accurate, independent, reliable, self-confident with strong decision making skills.
- Understanding of basic legal and permitting principals.
- Highly mobile.
- Needed for the CW and SA Staff: Computer, Cell phone, GPS & Compass, Laser rangefinder, Camera, & Vehicle
