Details Position Overview:
The Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for the creation and management of the detailed design
specifications and summaries used by our clients field forces to provision a robust and complex
customer, transport, IP, data, voice and DSL network.
You will be part of a growing team responsible for Ontario and Central Canada region. This position takes ownership of the integrity of our clients network records by ensuring accurate and timely records management and alignment to telecommunications and engineering industry standards.

Responsibilities:
 Design a cost effective telecommunications network at the highest level of reliability and
availability.
 Originate network installation specifications, material acquisitions, and accurate records in
accordance to project and budget parameters and timelines.
 Self management of Network Engineering workload including communication of individual job
status.
 Establish lines of communication with internal and external partners and customers regarding
network needs and solutions.

Required Knowledge:
 Knowledge of engineering, installation, and safety standards and regulations applicable to
telecommunications design and build.
 Detailed technical understanding in one or more of data, IP, DSL, transport, access, switching,
platform, and power network disciplines including their associated interdependencies.
 Broad understanding of the network infrastructure provisioning process.
 Must possess an aptitude for using integrated on line engineering systems.
