Sr. IC Architect - Wireless-GSM/GPRS/WCDMA/WIMAX
Location - Boston Area

Responsibilities:
- This candidate will work on next generation product initiatives in the advanced development group.
- This person will be responsible for the design, simulation and verification of the architectures needed to meet all 4G standards, keeping in mind the cost and efficiency.


Requirements:
- MSEE or Better
- 6+ years - relevant work experience as an IC architect.
- Detailed knowledge of some of the following wireless communications standards:
GSM / GPRS / EDGE / WCDMA / LTE / HSUPA / HSDPA / WiMAX / WiBRO / WiFi / Bluetooth / DTV / iDEN / 802.11n / DigRF
- Experience with any of the following software -System C, SPW, Agilent, ADS and Matlab
- Advanced Knowledge of the standard transceiver architectures:
Direct conversion / Super Heterodyne / IF Sampling / RF Sampling / RF Sub-sampling / Direct IQ Modulation / Polar Modulation / Cartesian feedback and their respective strengths and weakness.

Desirables:
- IC floor planning, board design and experience with implementing MIMO systems.
