Sales Engineer - Wireless & Wireline Test systems

Owing to increasing demand for our products and expertise, we are seeking a technical sales person who can understand our customers’ network measurements in detail and propose the best solution. The position, based in the Boulder Area, Colorado, USA will initially consist of internal sales, lead generation, discussing requirements with customers and all aspects of the sales process. Our customers are the most prestigious names in telecom and networking. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced telecoms engineer who possesses great pride in his/her professional performance to develop into a sales roll by joining a young company which is experiencing rapid growth. Sales & Technical training will be given but expert knowledge of telecoms networks is a pre-condition for interview. Prospects for an accelerated career path to business management are excellent for the industrious and diligent successful candidate.

Responsibilities include:-

• Responding to leads via phone & email & issuing quotations

• Generating leads using Web based mechanisms

• Managing and implementing Tele-Marketing campaigns to focused and well defined target audiences

• Qualifying customers in detail on their technical requirements

• Managing and implementing the Sales Process from Prospecting to close

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering or Computing Science

Required Skills & Accumen

• Detailed understanding of Wireless & VoIP Telecommunications Networks and Protocols

• Excellent Verbal Communication Skills

• Proficient at Concise, Accurate and Clear Written Communication

• A natural Self-Organizer

• Determined to excel and exceed

Experience - Proven track record in:
• Design, Support or Operation of Telecommunications Networks

• Or 4 years experience selling Telecom or Network Capital Equipment to large corporations based on technical benefits

This is a full-time or part-time position.

The successful candidate will be expected to learn quickly, be detailed and accurate in their understanding and communication to others of the most complex of network protocols e.g. 3g/UMTS and CDMA. This position would suit someone who is an experienced network engineer or technician and who now wants to develop their career in sales, marketing and business management. The successful candidate will be someone who quickly understands the high standards of excellence and professionalism which Teraquant embodies and represents these to our customers.
