Details Position Overview:

We are currently in search of a high-energy, results-oriented person for the role of a Specialist —Pricing. As a member of the Pricing and Product Marketing team for Prepaid, your role will be to lead and/or support initiatives to enhance TELUS’ prepaid service offerings. The objectives of the team are to drive incremental ARPU, increase client loading, create competitive advantage and decrease churn.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage business service models for TELUS Mobility prepaid rates and features.
Track and anticipate prepaid pricing and feature developments of Canadian competitors and national and regional players in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Use strategic analysis tools to develop appropriate responses to competitive pricing activities.
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create, develop and implement new airtime service and feature pricing initiatives.
Lead the development of prepaid product positioning to ensure clear communication of TELUS competitive advantages for quarterly campaigns and product/service releases or enhancements.
Collaborate with Marketing Communications, Trade Marketing and Direct Marketing in the creation and development of marketing materials including: in-store collateral, user guides, web marketing, sales tools, training guides, etc.
Collaborate with Channel Care, Client Operations and Loyalty teams to ensure clear communication of new services and features pricing both internally and externally.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop and implement changes across various client touchpoints to improve the prepaid client experience.
Leverage strong analytical skills to assess and track loading, client usage and revenue trends of various campaigns and portfolios; analyze performance differences across regional, channel and segment dimensions.
Support inquiries from operational, channel, marketing and sales, legal and finance teams.

Qualifications
Qualifications

2-3 years experience in business analysis and project management and 1 year experience in marketing and/or product management; preferably with specific experience in telecommunications.
Must have good knowledge of TELUS existing services and features.
Business or Engineering degree preferred with strong analytical and problem solving skills; solid understanding of business strategy principles.
Strong interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively build key relationships and to negotiate and facilitate resolutions.
Experience with MS access and data-mining applications required.
Strong technology background required — ability to learn and embrace new technologies as they relate to the wireless industry.
Demonstrated initiative and problem solving skills.
