Technical Support Engineer (UMTS Core Network)

Job description:Based in Poland, You will be responsible for offering technical support to both Pre-sales and Post sales business to Partner or Customer on UMTS Core Network products.

Responsibilities:

*

Pre-sales support - Pre-sales testing support, holding workshops with customer or partner on technical issues. - Bidding support on technical and engineering related part. Follow up issues that may arise during testing/workshop/bidding activities.
*

Engineering support - Onsite support for site survey, installation or commissioning, documentation when necessary. - Interface with engineering partner to locate technical problems that may arise during the engineering process. - Supervising project engineering process, including hardware and software supervision, acceptance test.
*

Maintenance support. - Responsible for SLM and TLM technical support service to customer or partner independently or jointly with a technical support team. - On site support in case of major or critical problems that can be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA. - Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system and keep tracking these problems during the whole resolving process.
*

Training support - Assist trainer from HQ or EU region to conduct training of hardware installation and system commissioning for local subcontractor or service partner. - Conduct training of site survey and design for local subcontractor before they carry out site survey. - Assist trainer from HQ or EU region to conduct training for customer.

Qualifications:

*

Experience in working on Core Network (CS,PS).
*

Proven ability to interact with diverse customers in a multi-cultural environment.
*

Proven ability to provide legible communication.
*

Diploma degree or above in a relevant technical discipline.
*

Basic literacy and numeric skills.
*

Computer literacy.
*

Able to go on business trips within Europe.

Skills:

*

In-depth, current, technical knowledge of: 3GPP, Routing, Switching, CCS7, Voice over IP, Broadband, Unix, Sql and oracle data base.
*

Proven ability to diagnose and localize issues using logical analysis techniques.
*

Ability to understand the commercial environment whilst focusing on technical issues.
*

Ability to work across cultural and organizational boundaries, and operate successfully in an intense business environment.
*

Ability to work with customers, internal business unit organizations, and third party vendors.
*

Ability to work as part of a team.
*

Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure of tense/confrontational situations.
*

Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult customers and/or situations.

Ability to provide concise and clear, written and verbal reports.
